Musician and composer Torben Westergaard, meditation teacher Hanneli Ågotsdatter and author Peter Høeg who have worked together before, and who all three are passionate about meditative practice, have on the album 'Brud og hengivelse - Improvisationer' [Ruptures and Devotion - Improvisations] taken their collaboration and acquaintance to a new place, namely to an improvised encounter between meditation and music

In four tracks, they examine the experience of the personality and the body as a house, the relationship between silence and sound, between devotion and alertness, between play and seriousness, and between love and separation.

They playfully explore the immersion that can occur when it is soon the music, soon the words, soon a listening silence that leads inward.

In the warmth and mutual responsiveness and respect between the three, a fourth, invisible co-player becomes palpable: the opportunity that exists in meditative, creative contact.
